Under this new system, when I tap and hold on a podcast and delete the download, the download may be gone, but the bleeping title is still there. I want the episode titles GONE. I am not Apple, they are not here, I am a user like you. I told you how to delete downloads and how to get rid of followed lists. I didn't ask to have my intelligence insulted. I have used plenty of complex technological applications during my working career. I am not an idiot. I believe Apple has messed up their podcast app. As you look online you will see I am not the only one disgusted with the new version of Apple podcast.

Podcasts are entertaining, educational, and free in the Podcast app, so there's a temptation to subscribe to every one that catches our fancy. Unfortunately, though, if the podcasts you've subscribed to are automatically downloading, they can very quickly eat up a lot of your iPhone storage.
Or, your download preferences may not kick into gear as expected. Minor bugs and glitches, insufficient permissions, and corrupt network settings are the most common reasons that can prevent Apple Podcasts from downloading your podcasts locally to your iPhone.
Below, you'll find nine troubleshooting tips that should prompt Apple Podcasts to start downloading your episodes properly again. Temporary glitches within the Podcasts app may prevent it from downloading podcasts to your iPhone. Rule that out by force-quitting and re-opening the app. Start by opening your iPhone's App Switcher. If your iPhone supports Face ID, simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause for a moment to bring it up.
If not, double-press the Home button instead. Then, select the Podcasts app card and swipe it upward to force quit it. Wait for a moment and re-open the app.
